In the winter of 2015, Brandon Pasion decided to tell the truth. For years, much of the singer-songwriter’s best work had been kept carefully hidden, tucked away to preserve the illusion of a life free of complication and struggles with discontent. There are roads he was warned not to travel and questions he was advised not to ask, but for better or worse, Pasion has learned to appreciate the beautifully dangerous nature of art and story, and decided it’s time to tell his. The resulting debut album, All I Ever Want (Sept 2015), is "exactly what Brandon sought to capture — pure honesty." (Visalia Times-Delta)

Since then, Pasion has played shows up and down the west coast, headlining conferences, concerts, vineyards, and beer gardens, and opening for country music superstars Clay Walker and Kellie Pickler . He’s had the opportunity to bring quality country storytelling to audiences from Victoria, B.C. to San Diego, from the beautiful Denver mountains to an airplane hanger in Chicago, IL. "On occasion a band will grab your attention with a great energy, or melody, or blend or beat," says owner of The Cellar Door Dan Littleton, "Brandon Pasion has just that ability." His energetic musicality, seamless blends and harmonies, and engaging stage presence inspire audiences to their feet and leave them wanting more. "The resonating sound of his vibrant voice and often tender instrumentation quickly reverberated throughout the community," writes Zachary Newcott of the Visalia Times-Delta.

The songs that make up Pasion’s stories have their roots in his deeply spiritual, fundamentally musical upbringing - in the constantly changing scenery of his childhood, in long summers in the heartland with Garth Brooks albums on repeat, in small town church pianos and the dizzying pace of California’s Silicon Valley. His extensive jazz education and deep love of country form the foundation of his uniquely honest, soulful writing and down-home harmonies. Many of Pasion's songs are collaborations with country music legend Larry Bastian of “Rodeo” and “Unanswered Prayers” fame, a childhood hero of his who has since become a friend and trusted mentor. “My music is my story,” Pasion says, “It’s honest mistakes, real longing, real love, real life.  It’s my hope that these songs will resonate with you. Music should make you question your journey. If nothing else, it should remind you that whatever you’re going through is not a road you walk alone.”

This fall, fresh off being chosen as 106.7 KJUG's artist representative in the national Country Showdown, Brandon will return to the studio to record his latest collection of work, some written with Bastian, all with irressistable lyrics and rhythms that have quickly made them fan favorites throughout California's central valley. His goal - every show, every story, every crowded bar, shot of whiskey, and packed late-night dance floor - is to bring back the beating heart of country music, one unforgettable song at a time.
